Janine Cuneo
President
Janine Cuneo is a Vice-President at the global consulting firm ICF, Inc. using her expertise in affordable housing and homelessness programs to assist local jurisdictions with implementation and financing of federal programs. She previously worked for the Urban Land Institute, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, as well as Mercy Housing. Janine currently lives in Denver and is a graduate of the Notre Dame University (B.A. & M.A.) as well as Cornell University (M.R.P.).
Carrie Meek
Treasurer
Carrie Meek is the Chief Growth Officer at Anchor Peabody, an investment banking firm. Prior, she was the CEO and Chairperson of the Board for Meek’s Lumber & Hardware. Carrie is a graduate of Georgetown University, and Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. She resides in Denver, with her wonderful husband and two children.
Lauren Bernstein
Board Member
Lauren attended school on the east coast before moving out to Colorado. Her passion for working with people experiencing homelessness came from running a community supper in Boston. Upon relocating to Colorado, she began working within homelessness systems. Lauren noticed a lack of access for people experiencing homelessness. She is appreciative to serve on a board that is ensuring access for this population.
Dionte Wright
Board Member
Dionte Wright is originally from East Chicago, Indiana. He moved to Denver in 2017 and works as a painter. He has 2 brothers and 6 sisters. He appreciates art and music and is happiest when thinking nostalgically about his family and community.
Jeff Cuneo
Executive Director
Jeff Cuneo is a former juvenile justice attorney who dedicated his professional life to providing essential legal services to people experiencing homelessness. He previously worked as a public defender, was an elected school board member, and also managed and ran a criminal justice re-entry program. He lives in Denver, with his amazing wife and children, Charlie and Haddie.
